Well after weeks of planning it looks as if this trip is off the ground, while we have nearly reached the target figure there is still room for more members to come and enjoy what will be a great holiday. For those members who missed our April meeting this is broadly what the trip entails, luxury coach to and from Traralgon, cooked breakfast, 3 course dinner, and morning tea each day together with lunch on 3 days.
Highlights include, attractions in Beechworth, Yackandandah, Harrietville, Mount Buffalo, Milawa, Mount Beauty, and much, much more. What you are guaranteed is picturesque scenery, great company and all for only $665 per person, twin share.
REMINDER:
Members going on this trip, your deposit of $50 are required at the May meeting. Remember to place the money in an envelope with your name on the front and what it is for and give it to Treasurer Heather Crawford

Lunch Group

Following our April meeting 28 members gathered at the Traralgon Bowls Club for a very pleasant lunch. An aspect of this lunch which was most pleasing was that we had a room of our own, more tables and plenty of room; the meal was good and the company exceptional. It was a gathering of members who carried on what this club is all about, enjoying the company of friends in a relaxed atmosphere with good food.
Members if you haven’t tried it before come and join us at our next Lunch Group gathering and judge for yourselves.
Thanks Brenda another enjoyable one.

Walking Group

This dedicated group, great at drinking cappuccinos, meets each Tuesday, weather permitting, in the car park behind the Red Rooster building and generally walk for 45+ minutes. Presently it’s a small group but has plenty of room to expand. Our aim is to enjoy the walk and the social atmosphere especially afterwards while enjoying a cappuccino.
The group would love to have many more members join them and by the way the walk is as long as you wish or want it to be.

Hear Tell !!!

Great to see our members who recently toured Kiwi land back amongst us, telling tales of their experiences.
Hear tell the stork is paying a visit to the families of some of our members, the sound of little ones will soon be heard by grandparents one set for the first time. Congratulations and we wish the new parents well.
We hope Madam President had an enjoyable break in sunny or should that be rainy Queensland.
We also welcome back our members who recently enjoyed a trip to Tasmania.

Prayer for Senility:
God grant me the senility
to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do,
and the eyesight to tell the difference.
